This seminar is the final in the series on 'bridging' social capital. It aims to explore how civil society organisations can help bring people together when they have fundamentally opposing views and establish conflict resolution mechanisms.

Speakers:

  • Duncan Morrow (Community Relations Council, Northern Ireland) will outline how initiatives and models from Northern Ireland can and do apply in the rest of the UK, specifically to the North of England.
  • Simon Keyes (St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace) will give an overview of the history of the Centre, how it was established and the work it engages in.
