Our work is based on our understanding that a vibrant democracy requires a closer relationship between our democratic institutions and citizen led participation and engagement.
The aims of the Initiative are to:
- Increase our understanding of power and influence, and how it impacts on our democracy in the UK and Ireland.
- Increase the ability of citizens and civil society organisations to individually and collectively influence the democratic process.
