Inquiry completes series of futures workshops around the UK and Ireland

The Inquiry into the Future of Civil Society has completed a series of five futures workshops held around the UK and Ireland. The purpose of these events was to identify the key driving forces (social, technological, economic, environmental, political, legal or organisational) that are likely to shape the future nature and role of civil society. Around 140 individuals with diverse professional and life experiences participated in the events, which were undertaken with the support of Henley Centre HeadlightVision. Reports from each workshop will be posted on the Inquiry website and a detailed report analysing the findings of the analysis of each event and associated research will be available in July 2007.
